Privacy Policy

The short version

We do not ask you to create an account. We do not ask you to upload your files. We do not store, log, or transmit the numbers, text, or files you enter into any tool. Because every tool runs as JavaScript in your own browser, that data never reaches us — we have no server-side component that could receive it.

Files and tool inputs

Every calculator, converter, and utility on this site executes entirely on your device. The inputs you provide, and the outputs we calculate from them, are held in your browser's memory for as long as the page is open and are never transmitted to us or to any third party.

We cannot recover this data for you because we never receive it. If you close or refresh the page, the information is gone. This is why there is no export, history, or sync feature: providing one would require us to store your data, which is exactly what we have designed out.

Advertising

We use Google AdSense to fund the site. Google and its partners may use cookies or device identifiers to serve and measure ads, and may personalise them based on your prior activity. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this and other sites.

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on prior visits to this or other websites. Google's advertising cookies can be disabled in your browser settings, and doing so does not affect your ability to use any tool on this site.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting, aggregate analytics to count page views. We do not use analytics to record keystrokes, mouse movements, or the values you enter into any tool. Any analytics provider we use is required to process data solely on our instructions.

Cookies and local storage

We store your light or dark theme preference in your browser's local storage so the site does not flash the wrong theme on load. This is a functional preference only, it never leaves your device, and clearing site data removes it. Third-party advertising cookies may also be set by Google as described above.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. Because we do not collect personal information from anyone, tool inputs included, there is nothing for us to hold about a child's use of the site.

Your rights

Data protection regulations such as the GDPR and CCPA give you rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct, and delete it. Because we do not collect or store tool inputs, account data, or personal information, there is generally nothing held for us to disclose or erase. If you have a question about data associated with your use of advertising, that is a matter for Google, and their privacy policy covers it.

This site links to other ullass products and, where relevant, to external references. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of sites we do not operate. External links are clearly identified and are not used to disguise advertising.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a revised date above. Material changes will be summarised at the top of the page rather than made silently.
