About OmniTools

What we build

OmniTools currently offers 76 tools across five categories: finance, business, maths, unit conversion, and date calculations. Each one answers a question that people genuinely need answered — what my monthly loan payment will be, what margin am I really making after a discount, how many square feet is a kanal — and answers it without asking for an account, an email address, or an upload.

We are deliberately narrow about scope. A tool that is slightly wrong is worse than no tool, so each one is built around a documented method, shows its working, and states plainly what it does not model.

How it works

Every tool on this site is a web page that runs entirely in your browser. When you type a loan amount, that number is handled by JavaScript on your own device. It is not sent to us, not written to a database, and not available to us to recover.

This is a real architectural constraint rather than a marketing line. It means we can never ask for a password, never show an upload button, and never need to delete your data, because we never have it. It also means the tools keep working on a poor connection, and cost us almost nothing to run.

How it is funded

OmniTools is free and has no paid tier, no usage cap, and no watermark. It is supported by advertising, which is the only monetisation we use. That is the whole business model, and we have kept it that way so that no feature can ever be locked behind a paywall.

We do not accept payment to alter results, boost placement, or remove a competitor from a comparison. If a tool gives you an answer, it is because the maths says so.

Accuracy

Each tool page explains the method it uses, works through a real example, and lists its limitations. Where a result depends on a rule we cannot verify — a tax rate that changed this year, a regional definition of a land unit that varies between markets — we say so on the page rather than presenting a number as authoritative.

We are not a financial, legal, or medical authority, and nothing here is professional advice. Calculators exist to help you check an arithmetic question quickly; the judgement about what to do with the answer still belongs to you.

OmniTools and ullass

OmniTools is a product of ullass. We build software for small businesses and professionals, and OmniTools is the same idea applied to utilities: do one unglamorous thing properly and make it dependable.

Corrections

If you find a calculation that looks wrong, please tell us. Include the inputs, what you expected, and what the tool gave you, and we will check it. Corrections to published tools are treated as bugs, not as opinions, and we fix them.
